Jeremy Pamplin

Program Manager

Biological Technologies Office

Col. Jeremy Pamplin joined DARPA in May 2025 as a program manager in the Biological Technologies Office. His research interests include telemedicine, clinical decision support, robotics, and automation to support austere, disaster, and operational medicine.

Prior to arriving at DARPA, Pamplin served as the first commander of TATRC, the only U.S. Army laboratory dedicated to researching and developing advanced technologies to automate casualty care. He previously served as TATRC's director and deputy director. 

He developed and directed the ADVISOR teleconsultation system, providing specialty support to deployed military forces. He also co-founded and served as regional director for the Joint Telecritical Care Network (JTCCN). Pamplin holds the rank of professor of medicine and professor of military/emergency medicine at the Uniformed Services University.

Pamplin has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, and presented at numerous national and international conferences. He has received numerous military awards and professional recognition, including induction into the Order of Military Medical Merit. 

He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and received his M.D. at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
