DARPA’s Biological Technologies Office is hosting two identical Proposers Day meetings (East Coast and West Coast) to provide information to potential applicants on the structure and objectives of the new Pandemic Prevention Platform (P3) program. P3 aims to develop an integrated, end-to-end platform that uses nucleic acid sequences to halt the spread of viral infections in 60 days or less. Performers will use nucleic-acid-based technologies pioneered by DARPA as a foundation for work to overcome the remaining bottlenecks preventing rapid response to pandemic threats.
The East Coast Proposers Day will be held on February 22, 2017, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. Participation is in person only, and advance registration is required. DARPA hosts Proposers Days to provide potential performers with information on whether and how they might respond to the Government’s research and development solicitations and to increase efficiency in proposal preparation and evaluation. Therefore, the P3 Proposers Day is open only to registered potential applicants.
