Multi X Office
Travis Autry, Ph.D., joined DARPA in May 2026 as a program manager in the Multi X Office.
His research interests include quantum sensing and entanglement, PNT, integrated photonics, and optoelectronic semiconductor and MEMS devices.
Prior to DARPA, Travis was a research and development scientist at HRL laboratories focused on quantum sensing and photonics. In that role, he served as technical and programmatic lead for a portfolio of sensor efforts including DARPA’s H6 program and Veloci-RapTOR.
Prior to joining HRL, he was a staff scientist at the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado, working in quantum nanophotonics.
