The Defense Sciences Office is holding a Proposers Day webcast to provide information to potential candidates for DARPA’s Young Faculty Awards (YFA) program. The objectives of YFA are to identify and engage rising stars in junior research positions inside and outside of academia, expose them to Defense Department needs and DARPA’s program development process, and provide high-impact funding to develop new research directions that help to transform national security capabilities.
Additional details — including on registration and on eligibility for the YFA program — are available at https://go.usa.gov/xyJcJ. Registration closes at 4:00 PM EDT on August 16, 2019, or when capacity is reached.
Please address administrative questions to YFA2020@darpa.mil and refer to the YFA2020 Proposers Day (DARPA-SN-19-70) in all correspondence.
DARPA hosts Proposers Days to provide potential performers with information on whether and how they might respond to the Government’s research and development solicitations and to increase efficiency in proposal preparation and evaluation. Therefore, this meeting is open only to registered potential applicants, and not to the media or general public.
