Ag x BTO: Defending Agriculture Against Natural and Manmade Threats
Natural outbreaks and engineered biological threats can devastate crops, economies, and national security.
The Biological Technologies Office (BTO) is a focused seminar introducing a new initiative to defend the U.S. food supply from natural and engineered biological threats.
BTO is directing Ag × BTO, a multiyear effort to fund breakthrough technologies that keep America’s food supply safe and resilient. This half-day seminar delivers a comprehensive briefing on the program’s goals, funding pathways, and partnership opportunities.
This event will be held on July 17, 2025, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Innovators will connect directly with BTO and learn about DARPA's strategic approach to agricultural biosecurity and future funding pathways for transformative technologies. | Learn about the Ag x BTO program
