Dr. Justin Cohen joined DARPA in April 2023 as a program manager in the Microsystems Technology Office. His research interests include quantum photonics, precision measurement, acousto-optics, and integrated photonics.
Prior to joining DARPA as a program manager, Cohen worked as a scientist with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he advised DARPA and other U.S. government clients on research and development programs in advanced microelectronics, with a focus on integrated photonics technologies.
Cohen earned Bachelor of Science degrees in physics and mathematics from the University of Florida with summa cum laude distinction. He earned Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in physics from the California Institute of Technology.
