DSO is interested in developing a fundamental and – where possible – quantitative understanding of the dynamics of human-machine systems, as well as in building and demonstrating such systems for a wide variety of national security applications. Success in this venture could radically magnify the capabilities of people to respond to increasingly complex problems in areas as diverse as military strategy, manufacturing, and human innovation.
