The goal of the Documentation & Decision Support Sprint (D2 Sprint) is to catalyze advancements in combat medicine through targeted prize incentives. The effort seeks autonomous solutions using passive sensor data (audio, video, accelerometry) to enable hands-free DD Form 1380 (TCCC Card) documentation and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)-aligned real-time clinical decision support for non-medics.
To support this effort, the Biological Technologies Office (BTO) will host a virtual Industry Day for potential competitors to introduce program goals, facilitate Q&A, and encourage teaming arrangements across two competition lanes (Documentation and Decision Support).
The Virtual Industry Day will take place on Sept. 22, 2026, from 1 – 2 p.m. ET.
Registration closes on Sept. 20, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET (or when the 1,000-attendee capacity is reached).
