Lt. Col. Tyson enlisted in the Marine Corps reserves in 1991 as a field artilleryman while completing his undergraduate degree in International Relations at The Pennsylvania State University. He was commissioned in 1995 and designated a naval aviator in 1997.
Warfighter Liaison
Mr. Lee Rudacille joined DARPA in 2016 as an operational liaison for U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). He assists DARPA leadership with sustaining strong and enduring relationships with SOCOM and CENTCOM key leaders, technology partners and process owners. He supports DARPA's leaders and program mangers with understanding operational and technology shortfalls and gaps, while raising awareness of how DARPA's work will advance relevant partner capabilities. Rudacille also serves as the program manager for DARPA's Service Chiefs Fellows Program.

Mr. Ted Senator joined DARPA as a program manager in the Defense Sciences Office in August 2018. Senator was a senior science advisor at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, focusing on uses of artificial intelligence and machine learning. He has been a program manager at both the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), as well as the founder and leader of the Artificial Intelligence Division at the U.S. Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and an engineer for the Department of the Navy
