Division Chief: U.S. Navy & STRATCOM
Commander James “Sleestak” Reeve is the Division Chief for the U.S. Navy and STRATCOM in the Adaptive Execution Office. In this capacity, CDR Reeve works with DARPA and the Services to evaluate transition paths for DARPA technologies while identifying capability gaps related to specific technology/research and development objectives. He also manages and tracks DARPA technological efforts of interest to DoD users across the Naval (Air/Space/Cyber) and STRATCOM mission sets. As DARPA’s co-lead for the Technology Development Working Group, he works to ensure synergy between DARPA, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy special access programs. Additionally, CDR Reeve manages DARPA's Service Chiefs Fellows Program.
Special Assistant to the Director, Operational Liaison for Warfighter Engagement
Mr. John Murphy joined DARPA in 2014. He serves as an operational liaison for warfighter engagement and technology transition. He assists DARPA leadership with sustaining strong and enduring relationships with the Navy, PACOM, SOUTHCOM, and select interagency partners. Murphy supports DARPA's leaders and program mangers with understanding operational and technology shortfalls and gaps, while raising awareness of how DARPA's work will advance relevant partner capabilities. He also coordinates agency-wide efforts to track the transition of DARPA technology.

The goal of the Adapting Cross-domain Kill-webs (ACK) program is to develop an overall framework, algorithms, and software prototypes for decentralized construction and adaption of multi-domain (space, air, land, surface, subsurface, cyber) kill webs – i.e. software decision aids to coordinate the selection of the specific sensors, effectors, and support elements across domains to form kill webs delivering desired effects on targets.
