Cmdr. Greg Sutton joined DARPA in August 2019 as a program manager in the Strategic Technology Office (STO). His research interests include maritime access; offensive non-kinetics; and novel maritime tagging, tracking, and locating concepts.
Before returning to full time active-duty, Sutton was a senior professional staff member at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from 2004-2012 where he worked numerous unattended-maritime sensor programs.
Sutton received a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science in systems engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.
