Trish Veeder
Program Manager
Microsystems Technology Office
Ms. Trish Veeder joined DARPA in January 2023 as a program manager in the Microsystems Technology Office. Her research interests include image sensing technologies that expand the functionality of apertures, including plasmonics, optics, and novel signal processing architectures that enable new capabilities when compared to current state-of-the-art imaging systems.
Prior to joining DARPA, Veeder was a director of product lines within Raytheon Company’s Intelligence and Space division. She led teams on the development of infrared focal plane arrays, proliferated low-Earth orbit space payload developments, and GPS M-code receivers. At Raytheon, she worked on DARPA programs that included 3-D IC, PIXNET, WIRED and ReImagine. She worked extensively on the development of digital in-pixel sensors with the Army C5ISR Center Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate, and she transitioned the technology to distributed aperture systems.
Veeder holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Idaho.
