Kevin Rudd

Dr. Kevin Rudd joined DARPA in May 2020 as a program manager in the Strategic Technology Office (STO). His interests include information warfare, electronic warfare, radio frequency sensing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for DoD applications.
Prior to Joining DARPA, Rudd worked for the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) as the chief scientist of several high impact programs in the Aerospace Electronic Warfare Branch. Prior to NRL, Rudd was a program manager at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) where he led programs advancing sensing, electronic warfare, electronic protection, and distributed operations. His efforts have contributed to major programs and capabilities across all domains from undersea to space.
Rudd holds a doctorate in applied science from The College of William and Mary as well as Bachelor of Science degrees in physics and computer science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
