Dr. Stuart Wagner joined DARPA in September 2014. His research interests include networking, cyber security and computer network operations.
Dr. Wagner came to DARPA from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he was a research professor in the College of Computing Sciences.
Prior to joining NJIT, Dr. Wagner worked from 1986 to 2014 at Applied Communication Sciences (ACS, formerly Telcordia Technologies and Bellcore), where he most recently served as assistant vice president and chief scientist of the Network Systems Research Laboratory. His responsibilities included formulating and leading multi-disciplinary research programs for both government and commercial clients, while advising company leadership on strategic direction for internal research and development programs. His program activities spanned optical networking, wireless networking, protocol design and analysis, network management, machine learning and game theory.
