    Dr. Kevin Massey joined DARPA in September 2013 as a Program Manager in the Tactical Technology Office.  His interests include aeroacoustics and noise control; blast modeling and vehicle survivability; smart/guided munitions; air defense; supersonic aerodynamics; unmanned aerial vehicles and flapping wing flight.

    Prior to joining DARPA, Dr. Massey worked as a professor and discipline head for aerospace and aviation at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Melbourne, Australia. At RMIT, he coordinated active research programs and contract development in areas such as advanced aerospace structures, unmanned aerial vehicles and wind engineering.  Before joining RMIT, he spent 11 years at the Georgia Tech Research Institute supporting various military research programs related to vehicle survivability, smart munitions, unmanned aerial systems, and noise and vibration.

    Dr. Massey holds Bachelor, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
