Dr. Randy Garrett joined DARPA as a Program Manager in 2010.  His research and development interests relate to the use of information technologies for the counter-insurgency mission. 

Earlier in his career Garrett worked for several governmental and private sector activities. 

Garrett holds Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering and Master of Science in Computer Science degrees from Florida Atlantic University and Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
